Investigating (21:10 UTC 07/08/26) - We are aware of licensing errors when logging into cPanel. The issue does not affect the ability to visit websites; it only affects the cPanel control panel.
Update (21:30:00 UTC 07/08/26) - The cPanel team has confirmed that they are experiencing issues with their licensing system, affecting all cPanel servers globally. We are awaiting the cPanel team’s resolution of the issue.
Update (21:54:00 UTC 07/08/26) - We have confirmed that the cPanel licensing system issue also affects the ability to access webmail and email accounts via POP3/IMAP/SMTP. We still do not have an estimate of when cPanel expects to resolve the issue, other than that they are well aware and working as quickly as possible to resolve the problem.

Update (22:33:00 UTC 07/08/26) - cPanel has found the root cause of the issues with their licensing system and has begun rolling out a fix. A subset of Hawk Host servers has already started working with cPanel again. We will update again once all servers have successfully had their cPanel access restored.
Resolved (22:46:00 UTC 07/08/26) - All Hawk Host operated servers have successfully retrieved licenses, and cPanel and webmail are now functioning once again. If you have a Cloud VPS with Hawk Host, you may need to run /usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt to fix the issue immediately or wait for an automatic license check to run.
